Technical Questions

Computer programs used: CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.

Color separations: Multi-color images need to be mechanically color separated (each color printed in black and white on a separate sheet of paper or film). If you have artwork in a vector format such as CorelDraw or Illustrator, we can print out the separations.

CMYK separations: please call first for specifications.

Match PMS colors: there is a color matching fee of $15 per color.

Image size: Depends on the garment sizes and style and placement. Call for details.

Screens: The one-time screen set-up fee is a labor charge which covers the preparation and cleaning of the screens. We re-use the screens over and over again, and we keep your designs on file for future re-orders.

Art Specifications

We have a creative art department ready to help you. Send us your art or let us know your idea, and we'll do the rest.

Formatting your artwork according to our specifications improves turn-around time. If your artwork does not meet specifications, our art staff will make the corrections or you can make the changes and resubmit your art file. Turn-around time begins when approved artwork is received.

Artwork is accepted in vector and raster format.

Vector artwork is made up of geographical shapes such as point, lines curves, and polygons. Programs that produce vector artwork include Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator.

Raster artwork is made up of tiny dots of color commonly referred to as pixels or points. Adobe Photoshop is used to create raster artwork.

All files should be prepared for use on the PC platform.
